Everything started with an idea, some time ago. An idea from young people who wanted to know more about the past, about the modern history. So instead of searching in books historical events they started to search people who were witnesses of that time. Our story started in a Youth Exchange project, called Let Me Tell You A Story 4, as a part from Erasmus+ programme, where 35 people wanted to know more about life in Czechoslovakia during communism. Here, with countless hours of travelling, we slowly arrived to meet and greet. As our days passed we get to know eachtoher who is a good leader, who wants to back a bit. But one thing was common: our motivation to touch our aim. We have been made as a team and with 3 groups we were ready to take the challenge which history has offered us. After some days, we travelled to Ostrava to make our interviews, to make a worthy memento for those who lived under red stars and since you are reading our book now, it seems we have reached our goal.
